Join us for a fascinating day trip to Kakran Pottery Village, the Dhamrai Brass Artisans area, and the National Martyrs Monument, including a scenic boat ride.

Itinerary:
Morning: Meet your guide at your hotel or the airport in Dhaka. Start your tour with a visit to the National Martyrs Monument in Savar, a tribute to those who lost their lives during Bangladesh’s liberation war in 1971. The monument’s striking architecture and natural surroundings are truly captivating.

Boat Trip: Depart for Nayarhat and enjoy a short boat ride (1-2 hours) to Kakran Pottery Village. Here, you’ll witness skilled potters creating beautiful pottery using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Savor an authentic lunch at a local restaurant.

Brass Artisan Visit: Next, head to Dhamrai to observe talented brass artisans at work. This craft has been practiced in the area since the Pala dynasty (7th century AD). Don’t miss the impressive ‘Hindu Rath,’ resembling a Roman chariot, on display throughout the year.

Nature Stop: On your return, stop at the picturesque Jahangir Nagar University campus, known for its migratory bird populations visiting the lakes in winter.

**Return:** Arrive back in Dhaka in the late afternoon.

    Lovely day trip to pottary village and Panam. Very pretty / beautiful to visit and Nazmul was a great guide and organised everything perfectly. Boat ride to the river island was also a lovely experience and the visit to the village was also something unique. Highly recommend!
