Description :
This 5-day small-group wildlife adventure offers the premier Sundarban tour experience from Dhaka, specifically tailored for Western travelers aged 50 and over who value safety, comfort, and authentic exploration. Your journey begins in the bustling capital of Dhaka, a megacity of 22 million where modern life meets historic charm, providing a spectacular backdrop for street photography. From there, you will delve into the cultural heritage of Bagerhat, a 15th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient temples and the iconic Sixty Dome Mosque. The expedition then heads deep into the Sundarban Mangrove Forest—the world’s largest mangrove system and a globally significant Ramsar wetland. Led by expert guides, you’ll cruise through this serene wilderness in silence, away from the crowds, for the best chance to spot Bengal tigers, estuarine crocodiles, spotted deer, otters, and rare bird species.
Designed for efficiency without sacrificing depth, this itinerary is perfect for those with limited time or travelers planning an onward journey to India. On the final day, we can facilitate a smooth transition to Kolkata by arranging an overnight stay in Khulna and a private transfer to the Benapole/Petrapole border. For those seeking even more convenience, our “Sundarban Safari” package offers an extended version that includes Dhaka airport transfers, a variety of hotel tiers to suit your budget, and a visit to Sonargaon, the ancient capital of Bengal. Whether you prefer to depart from Dhaka or Mongla, we offer several curated Sundarban tour packages in Bangladesh to ensure your travel plans are met with the highest standards of hospitality and expertise.
